The GR-342 ethylene selective hydrodeacetylation catalyst is designed and prepared through eggshell structure, which fully improves the catalytic effect of precious metals, while improving the selectivity of hydrodeacetylation and reducing ethylene loss.

C2H2 +H2→C₂  C4  C2H2 +2H2→C₂C4

This product is used to remove trace oxygen from ethylene, the raw material of polyethylene industry.
