AFW-10Z Organic Silicone Defoamer
AFW-10Z is a highly effective defoamer developed specifically for water treatment systems. Its primary ingredient is a specially modified silicone oil. It offers rapid defoaming, long-lasting foam suppression, excellent temperature resistance, and is stable and effective even in high-salinity waters. This non-toxic, non-corrosive defoamer does not harm beneficial bacterial strains in the water, making it environmentally safe and pollution-free, making it particularly suitable for water treatment processes such as evaporation.

Product Introduction

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AFW-10Z is made of modified polysiloxane as the main component, with emulsifier, dispersant and stabilizer, and refined by special process. It is a high-efficiency defoamer developed specifically for various water treatment systems. Its characteristics are: fast defoaming speed, long anti-foaming time, good temperature resistance and stability, non-toxic, non-corrosive, no adverse side effects, especially no destructive effect on various bacteria, and no damage to the environment.

1.Observe the foam status of the product well.(Tide level: 174cm)

2.Observation well foam status (tide level: 123cm)

3.Observation well foam status (tide level: 257cm)

4.Foam status at the water outlet (tide level: 67cm)

During use, regardless of tide level, there was no noticeable foam zone in the open sea, and no noticeable foam accumulation at the drain outlet. In observation wells 5 and 6, when the tide level exceeded 150 cm, there was no noticeable foam. When the tide level was below 150 cm, the foam fluctuated within a range of 2-3 square meters and was dispersed, with no tendency to accumulate.

FAQ

Why industrial water treatment needs defoamer?

Ensure the normal operation of equipment

  • Foam removal: During industrial water treatment, the interaction of dissolved gases, surfactants, and suspended solids in water can easily produce large amounts of foam. This foam can coat the surface of water treatment equipment, affecting its ventilation, agitation, and discharge functions, and can even clog the equipment, causing it to malfunction.

  • Reduce resistance: Foam will increase the friction resistance of water flow, causing the treatment equipment to consume more energy during operation and reducing the overall treatment efficiency.

Improve processing efficiency

  • Accelerate the treatment process: Defoamers can quickly destabilize foam, causing it to break and dissipate quickly, thereby speeding up the water treatment process. This helps shorten treatment time and improve overall treatment efficiency.

  • Improve water quality: By removing foam, defoamers can also help improve water quality, making treated water more suitable for discharge or reuse.

Reduce costs

  • Reduce energy consumption: Since defoaming agents can reduce the friction resistance caused by foam, they can reduce energy consumption during equipment operation and help reduce the operating costs of industrial water treatment.

  • Extend equipment life: The long-term presence of foam may cause corrosion or wear to water treatment equipment, shortening the service life of the equipment. The use of defoamers can reduce this damage, thereby extending the service life of the equipment and further reducing maintenance costs.

Environmental protection requirements

  • Reduce pollution: The main ingredients of many defoamers are highly biodegradable and will not cause persistent pollution to the environment. Using defoamers in industrial water treatment processes helps reduce the negative impact of wastewater discharge on the environment and meets environmental protection requirements.
