A versatile sampler suitable for all pulp types, even unscreened shredded and knotted pulp, and for low-pressure applications. Robust, reliable design. Representative sampling is achieved by extracting the sample from the water layer surrounding the pipe wall. Adjustable sampling flow allows for water flushing. Stud welding allows for simple installation and low maintenance requirements, with minimal moving parts.
The HOYF series samplers are used for manually extracting representative pulp samples from pressurized pipelines. The HOYF series is pneumatically controlled by a push button and automatically closes via a spring if the air release is applied.
The HOYE series is designed for use with pulps in the range of 0-12% C. The cut-out design of the sampling piston also makes it suitable for the lower consistency range found in unscreened pulp applications.

How it works
The cylinder (5) opens the sampling piston (2) to a preset position for optimal sample flow. When the button is released, sampling is complete. The cut-away design of the sampling piston (2) allows even unscreened pulp with debris and knots to be sampled. The straight-through design in the sampling piston minimizes the risk of clogging the sampler and facilitates better sampling. The sampler is easily cleaned by flushing with water (3). At the outlet (4), a tube with a maximum length of 5 meters (16 feet) and/or a ball valve can be connected.
