◼PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AFV-3130 is a first-generation higher carbon alcohol product suitable for degassing whitewater foam generated during the papermaking process. It has excellent degassing properties for whitewater temperatures above 45°C, while also having a limited effect on eliminating surface foam. This product has broad whitewater compatibility and is suitable for papermaking processes involving different paper grades and temperatures.
◼FEATURES
Excellent degassing performance under high and medium temperature conditions.
No adverse effects on other chemicals.
Good stability, no stratification or thickening.
◼APPLICATION AREA
Specialty paper, cultural paper, toilet paper.

◼What are the alternatives to fatty alcohol defoamers in papermaking?
Silicone defoamer
Features: Based on polydimethylsiloxane, it exhibits low surface tension, good chemical stability, and strong defoaming and anti-foaming capabilities, making it suitable for papermaking, coating, and other stages of the papermaking process.
Advantages: Effective for complex foam systems, but relatively expensive.
Polyether defoamer
Features: Composed of polyether compounds, it is suitable for use in various temperature and pH conditions, and has excellent defoaming properties for water-soluble foams.
Advantages: It combines the water solubility of polyether with the strong defoaming properties of silicone, making it suitable for paper coating and black liquor treatment.
Mineral oil defoamer
Features: Primarily mineral oil, with additives such as hydrophobic particles, making it economical.
Advantages: Provides a certain defoaming effect during pulping and papermaking.
