AFP-50T is a non-silicone defoamer. Its main components are fatty acid esters, organic hydroxyl compounds, and other additives. It is mainly used to eliminate harmful foam in paper coatings. It has the outstanding advantages of wide applicability, fast defoaming speed, long-lasting anti-foaming time and good solubility in the system.

Excellent effect in eliminating tiny bubbles
Fast defoaming speed and long-lasting foam suppression
Wide applicability
Will not produce silicon spots, shrinkage holes, etc

Our modern production bases, located in Anhui and Hangzhou, have multiple fully automated and semi-automated production lines with an annual capacity of up to 12,000 tons. This ensures that we implement strict closed-loop control over every step of each batch of products, from raw material input and synthesis reaction to emulsification, homogenization, testing, and filling.

Steel-plastic structure, robust and durable, leak-proof, ensuring safe factory operations.
Internationally recognized safe packaging solution.

Non-silicone defoamers are typically formulated from a variety of ingredients, including polyethers, fatty alcohols, and mineral oils. These ingredients possess a good balance of hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, enabling rapid dispersion in water. For example, polyether-based non-silicone defoamers, through a specialized emulsification process, can form a stable emulsion system, enabling uniform distribution during the papermaking process.
The addition amount is typically very low, generally ranging from 0.05% to 0.5%. The optimal addition amount needs to be determined experimentally, as excessive addition may lead to compatibility problems (such as oil shrinkage and turbidity).
How can I add a non-silicone defoamer to achieve the best results?
Timing: It is best to add it early in the production process (e.g., before grinding) to ensure adequate dispersion.
Method: Add slowly with low-speed stirring to avoid trapping it in the system due to vigorous agitation, which would affect efficiency.
Dilution: Some high-viscosity defoamers can be appropriately diluted with the system solvent before addition to improve dispersibility.
