◼PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Model GR-W017:
This product is a kind of organic phosphoric acid scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, which can form a stable conjugate with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions, and can dissolve the oxide on the metal surface. It can still play a good corrosion and scale inhibition effect at 250℃, and is still very stable at high PH, not easy to hydrolysis, and not easy to decompose under general photothermal conditions.
Main uses:
It is suitable for all kinds of membrane tube materials and all kinds of water quality, which can reduce the cleaning of the membrane and extend the service life of the membrane. The scale inhibitor is added to the diluted water, which can uniform the sizing of the slurry, stable the speed, and control the generation of scale when the slurry is washed inside the slurry washer. Improve washing efficiency.
◼Why is GR-W017 stable and resistant to hydrolysis under high pH and high temperature conditions?
This is due to its unique organic phosphoric acid molecular structure. The C-P bond in its molecule is more stable than the P-O-P bond in traditional inorganic phosphates or some other organic phosphorus compounds. It resists attack by hydroxide ions (OH⁻) and molecular breakage at high temperatures. Therefore, its hydrolysis rate is extremely slow in high pH and high temperature environments, maintaining its long-lasting effect.
◼How does this product achieve both scale and corrosion inhibition?
Corrosion inhibition: The polar groups in its molecules adsorb onto metal surfaces, forming a dense protective film that isolates corrosive substances (such as oxygen) in the water. Simultaneously, its chelating action chelates corrosive ions such as Fe²⁺ and Cu²⁺ in the water, eliminating corrosion catalysts.
◼What are the main benefits of using the GR-W017 in reverse osmosis (RO) systems?
Its main benefits include: ① Extended membrane life: Prevents contaminants such as CaCO₃, CaSO₄, and silica from clogging membrane pores and flow channels; ② Reduced operating costs: Reduced downtime for cleaning, extending cleaning cycles; ③ Improved system stability: Allows the system to operate at higher recovery rates, reducing wastewater discharge.
◼How does it help improve washing efficiency in the papermaking pulp washing process?
It prevents calcium and magnesium ions in the pulp from forming scale on the surfaces of the pulp washing machine mesh, rollers, and other equipment, keeping the mesh pores unobstructed and the roller surfaces clean. This ensures uniform flow of wash water and effective dewatering, ultimately improving pulp cleanliness and production efficiency while reducing downtime for cleaning.
