Its activity in the hydrolysis of organic sulfur (COS/CS₂ + H₂O → H₂S + CO₂) is limited. When treating gases containing organic sulfur, it is generally recommended to load a dedicated hydrolysis catalyst (such as a titanium- or aluminum-based hydrolyzer) in the upper portion of the bed and GR-02S in the lower portion, creating a graded loading pattern to achieve optimal overall sulfur conversion.
