AFC-1024 Organic Silicone Defoamer

◼PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AFC-1024 is a silicone defoamer made by a special process. It does not contain VOC, has good system compatibility, and has both defoaming and defoaming properties. It is suitable for water-based inks, water-based paints and water-based coatings industries, and can also be used in adhesives or  other high-viscosity systems.

◼Why is it difficult to defoam high-viscosity ink? Can this solve the problem?

It has the ability of self-emulsification, can quickly penetrate into thick ink to "burst" the foam, and continuously suppress foam during circulation, so that there will be no white spots or broken lines in printing.

◼How much should I add? Will it affect the color?

Usually, a small sample is tested at 0.1%–0.5% of the total formula; it has good compatibility and normal usage will not change the hue or gloss.

◼Besides ink, where else can it be used?

It can be used in water-based wood paint, wall paint, glue, leather coating and other high viscosity systems.
